Chose you because the company we bought the door from did not respond tou my call for help. Your technician was fantastic. Did a thorough inspection, spotted several other items that needed replacing then did all of them. He was very professional, worked rapidly, and the door now works like new. The Tech was proficient and did a good job. He reinforced issues that he felt were real safety issues. I did not like the company policy of taking all the door springs loose and removing all the cable drums and cables prior to presenting the sales pitch portion of the presentation, which created a half hour repair to well over one hour. I felt like I was being held hostage. I will be hunting for my former Overhead Garage Door vender that moved.
Richard, thank you for the kinds words about Brendan. Brendan has been with Precision Door Fort Collins for almost 5 years, and is very skilled in his safety assessments. The parts you mentioned in your review, are the exact parts that Brendan fully failed in his inspection (meaning they were not safe or operating correctly.) Looking at your invoice, Brendan rewound the undersized springs as you requested, replaced the drums at your request, and strongly recommended replacing the cables before they break completely. We are sorry you were not satisfied with the repairs done on your home, and wish you the best of luck in the future.

My recent experience with Precision garage door service was excellent. The repair person, Drew, was punctual, courteous, and professional. Upon arrival, he immediately found the problem and pointed out the broken spring that was causing the failure of garage door not opening. He showed me several options for the repair and gave me his recommendation, which I accepted. His work in repairing my garage door was fast and efficient. He demonstrated that he was both professional and knowledgeable. He had my garage door working again in 30-45 minutes. I would definitely use Precision service again and would request Drew be assigned the job. If others request Drew, make sure and ask to see pictures of his new daughter, she's a real "cutie".

The technician and a trainee came out quickly (within two hours!) to repair my garage door which would not open. The technicians couldn’t have been better to work with: knowledgeable, very pleasant, polite, thorough. I couldn’t have been happier with the service. I will recommend Precision to my brother who recommended a different company. That company didn’t return my call promptly and, when they finally did, they couldn't do the repair for two days. That would have left my garage open for 3 nights, and that was making me nervous! Finally, the price for the repair from Precision was reasonable. Once again, using a BBB rating proved more accurate than the internet (but you CAN believe this review!)
