I called for an appointment at 9:00 a.m. and the garage door was repaired by 2:00 p.m. the same day! Brenden was the tech and did a great job--he probably does this kind of repair (replace broken springs) 50 times a week! Bottom line, Precision was very professional. I felt comfortable the job would be done right, and it was. Their price was reasonable. Not cheap but certainly not exorbitant either--middle of the road providing what I believe is a good value.

I was very pleased with our experience with Precision Garage Door. They were able to schedule us for the very next day after I called, even though it wasn't an emergency. William installed a keypad entry and replaced a broken safety sensor. He did great work and explained everything well. He also rebalanced and straightened our garage door, eliminating an open gap along the right edge of the garage door, without even being asked.

Problem with the opener belt tension on one side of the belt track. It was making lots of noise, so I knew there was something wrong. Precision replaced the entire belt/track assembly for me ... no charge, since it was still under warranty, 1.5 years after it was installed. He even had one on the truck! I am VERY happy with this company and the service provided.

Precision did an excellent job! The spring broke on my 10-yr-old garage door opener. I called and got estimates from 3 companies and Precision Overhead Garage Door Service responded the fastest, scheduled the fastest and was actually a few dollars cheaper than their competitors. Kim explained how the repair would be done and got it scheduled for the very next day. I purchased my opener at Home Depot and Brandon came and installed it, replaced the broken spring and loud metal rollers, and Voila! I have a new, quiet garage door opener. Precision set expectations up front starting with the phone call describing the (likely) problem, possible fixes needed, and approximate costs. The tech (Nick) was scheduled for a few hours later, was timely in arrival and was very thorough in his work, including subtle details that mattered for better functioning of the opener. (Another company previously installed mismatched springs they had on hand despite my concern, and their springs failed years sooner than expected.)

We train our technicians to do a thorough and honest safety inspection of every door they encounter. Because yours was significantly older, there were many parts that were in need of repair or replacement. The $700 quote included everything that technically needed done, but we would have been happy to simply repair your springs as the next company did. It is so important to us that our customers are aware of potential issues their door may have in the future so that they know what to expect.
