The technician came to our house within 2 hours. He correctly diagnosed the problem with the door and the existing opener and fixed it cost efficiently over the course of the afternoon. I also had him replace the garage door opener with a new one that worked properly. Definitely please with the professionalism and expertise with which the job was completed.

He initially looked over the entire door, explained the different parts and operation, and then provided three options for repair. Listen, I had estimates taken for the new springs for my garage door. I had A1 Garage Door out to do the work, and over the phone they quoted me one price and when they came out for the work, they raised the price X3. I then contacted Precision Garage Door and was treated like valued customer. They also quoted me over the phone a range but were honest and did the job for the quoted price. Their technician [ Scott] was very personable and thorough. He looked over our door and let us know that we may need some more work but did not push. I will call Precision for all of my work going forward. Thanks Scott!

I feel ripped off. I contacted Precision inquiring about service and rates. I told them I had a Guardian opener less than 6 years old. I had talked to Guardian about my problem and they told me it was the logic/circuit board and gave me an email address to order a new one. Precision told me their service person had everything necessary on his truck and I didn’t need to order it. The service person came, told me it was the circuit board, which I had told him when he arrived, told me he didn’t have one and that it would need to be ordered, it would be $65 for the call and he’d come back when it came. I told him that that wasn’t fair. I already knew it was the circuit board and they told me not to order it, that they had one. Now I’d have to double pay. The service person told me he wouldn’t charge me for the second service call. Six days later the circuit board came in and the service person came back. He did a great job installing it and it worked great. The charge was another $75! I asked about what he’d said about no service charge the second time and he said this was labor charge. I asked him if it would have been $65 plus $75 if he hadn’t given me “service” for free and he said yes. So BEWARE. That’s $140 for a trip out with no purchase of parts. I paid another $56 for the circuit board directly from the manufacturer. So that’s $196 to replace a $48 part that was easy to install.

Both the person answering the phone and Nick who repaired our Garage Door were empathetic, professional, and efficient. 3 qualities I appreciate in a customer service company. Cheerful and courteous service person. I have a garage double door which has one long enclosed main spring. That spring broke. I called them late on a Sunday night and they arrived the next day at noon. The price was higher than I expected. However, it works well and I now have have an easier system to service with a two spring system. It took about 2 hours to replace everything.

Wow, was I impressed with your service. I had been looking for a trustworthy company. I have friends who have had horror experiences with garage door repair people. The appointment was quick, not weeks out. The repairman was on time. He overlooked the junk in the garage as I was trying to move and could not get the garage door up. He showed us the little safety feature to get the door up without the lifter working. I was able to move my stuff out of the garage. The landlord can now deal with repairing or replacing the very old garage door lifter. Oh, the repairman(sorry, I think his name is Brandon) did a thorough inspection and writeup. Super great guy, very, very professional. What a positive experience in the middle of a moving out mess. Moving is drama enough by itself. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

I had some issues with my garage door, so I looked on-line and found Precision had several 5 star reviews. So I gave them a call. The customer service rep on the phone was very polite and helpful. She set up an appt. with a technician for the same day. Nick was assigned to my project. I reviewed all of reviews about Nick, prior to him arrive. All were 4 & 5 star. Once he arrived, I was not dissapointed. He listened to my concerns about the issues with our door. He inspected the door and advised me what could be done to rectify the problems. They ranged from basic cleaning and maintenace to replacement of worn parts. He explained what each level of service would be and how it would affect the future performance of the door. Although the door is 26 years old and still had many of the original parts, he never tried to "up sell" me on replacement parts. He did show me where many of the original parts were worn and estimated how much longer they may last. I could see with my own eyes the wear on the parts. Obviously I was having problems with the door, or I wouldn't have made the call in the first place. After looking at the parts, I was convinced that I was lucky we never had any "major" problems with the door, but could see where these original parts would soon fail and lead to major issues. After getting an estimate on costs, I decided to replace several of the original parts. Nick said he had the parts on his truck and could remove the old parts and replace the new parts without another trip. He completed the repairs in a timely and professional manner. He adjusted our opener and cleaned up everthing behind him. Upon completion, the door works as good as new. I am very pleased with Nick's performance and would recommend Precision and Nick to anyone. Although the Product list below only allowed me to select one item, Nick replaced the spring, rollers, and drums. All were about to have major failure due to age.

Incredible. Going to work today and noticed garage door spring was broken great. Went on line found precision read reviews sounds great. Called scheduled an appointment for the morning. Guess what never showed. Called back said forget it I will go with someone else. Had it scheduled with their competitor. Their manager called apologizing for the mistake said they would take care of it for no charge. I said “What”. Are you kidding me. This is Absolutely The best service I have ever experienced. I Will recommend this company to everyone I know. Service tech showed up very apologetic saying they were sorry and would take care of the issue. Awesome. Very professional. Very fast response to my call. William did a “tuneup” on all 3 of my door openers, which are 40+ years old! They all sound so much quieter now. I asked for an estimate on new ones, which he emailed to me. When I decide to replace one or all of them, I shall call this company again.
