Precision set expectations up front starting with the phone call describing the (likely) problem, possible fixes needed, and approximate costs. The tech (Nick) was scheduled for a few hours later, was timely in arrival and was very thorough in his work, including subtle details that mattered for better functioning of the opener. (Another company previously installed mismatched springs they had on hand despite my concern, and their springs failed years sooner than expected.)

TERRIBLE! DO NOT USE! Tried to charge me $1000 I got the same thing done for $235 with another vendor. The Degree of attempted deception was astounding!!!

I would like to apologize for the frustration you have felt, and also the confusion we seem to have had over your quote. We train our technicians to do a thorough and honest safety inspection of every door they encounter. Because yours was significantly older, there were many parts that were in need of repair or replacement. The $700 quote included everything that technically needed done, but we would have been happy to simply repair your springs as the next company did. It is so important to us that our customers are aware of potential issues their door may have in the future so that they know what to expect. I am deeply sorry for the miscommunication, and hope you have a wonderful Christmas.

They came out to give me an estimate on fixing the garage door and installing a new opener and 2 hours later I had a new opener and the old garage door with new rollers and springs and wiring.
