Overall, great experience. Quick response time. Repairs were completed quickly. The technician was knowledgeable, polite, and very easy to work with. In addition to repairing the broken spring, we opted to replace the rollers that were showing wear. The door is now very quiet now - like rolling on butter. Will use Precision Garage Door again.

The repair man was courteous and called to let me know he was on his way. He promptly explained what he would do and then performed an inspection of my situation. I was then given a complete breakdown of the problems and the options I had for repair. He performed the work in a short period of time reflecting his expertise in the work and I'm very happy with my like new door and 5-year warranty. I would recommend Precision to all my friends.

When your technician, William, arrived he was very professional, very helpful, and knowledgeable about how to fix my issue. He also took the time to answer my questions and explain to me what he was doing and why and I appreciate that very much. The technician came to our house within 2 hours. He correctly diagnosed the problem with the door and the existing opener and fixed it cost efficiently over the course of the afternoon. Listen, I had estimates taken for the new springs for my garage door. I had A1 Garage Door out to do the work, and over the phone they quoted me one price and when they came out for the work, they raised the price X3. I then contacted Precision Garage Door and was treated like valued customer. They also quoted me over the phone a range but were honest and did the job for the quoted price. Their technician [ Scott] was very personable and thorough. He looked over our door and let us know that we may need some more work but did not push. I will call Precision for all of my work going forward. Thanks Scott!

Had previously used Precision Garage Door Service (different dealer in another state) to repair a number of issues with an old garage door opener. Was very satisfied with the quality of service and products provided in that transaction. New house here in Windsor came with a garage door but no opener. Looked for Precision Garage Door in the area and found the Fort Collins dealer. Called the local office on a Monday and had a new garage door opener by Tuesday afternoon. Spoke to Amanda on Monday about what I wanted. She passed the information to Tyler and he called Tuesday morning to discuss details. Colten was there in early afternoon and finished installing a new belt-drive opener with a very nice Liftmaster opener plus the wall mount control, the exterior key-pad, and the remote accessories. He also upgraded the original rollers with nylon-covered rollers for a quieter movement. The install was all very smooth and satisfactory. I am very pleased with the results of this transaction. I definitely suggest you consider Precision Garage Door of Fort Collins for your garage door opener issues. The staff is very courteous and professional. Colten was extremely patient with all my questions and helpful with explanations of the features of the opener.

I feel ripped off. I contacted Precision inquiring about service and rates. I told them I had a Guardian opener less than 6 years old. I had talked to Guardian about my problem and they told me it was the logic/circuit board and gave me an email address to order a new one. Precision told me their service person had everything necessary on his truck and I didn’t need to order it. The service person came, told me it was the circuit board, which I had told him when he arrived, told me he didn’t have one and that it would need to be ordered, it would be $65 for the call and he’d come back when it came. I told him that that wasn’t fair. I already knew it was the circuit board and they told me not to order it, that they had one. Now I’d have to double pay. The service person told me he wouldn’t charge me for the second service call. Six days later the circuit board came in and the service person came back. He did a great job installing it and it worked great. The charge was another $75! I asked about what he’d said about no service charge the second time and he said this was labor charge. I asked him if it would have been $65 plus $75 if he hadn’t given me “service” for free and he said yes. So BEWARE. That’s $140 for a trip out with no purchase of parts. I paid another $56 for the circuit board directly from the manufacturer. So that’s $196 to replace a $48 part that was easy to install.
