Thomas came out to service our garage door (broken spring). He was very personable and knowledgeable. I was a little surprised at the high price. I didn't expect it to be as much as it was (and, we didn't even do all that was recommended. That would have priced us out). To be fair, we haven't had a repair on our garage door for years (and that was at another house), so I don't have much to compare it with. When asked, the tech even said they were a little on the high side compared with other companies. However, the service was very good and the tech was very considerate and responsive to our needs.

A big thank-you to Thomas Chalfant and Precision Garage Door Fort Collins! I was having trouble with my garage door opener for a few weeks, but couldn't begin to guess what was causing the problem. Thomas inspected the door and saw a few indicators right away. He explained what he thought were the things that, if repaired/replaced, would make improvements, and he worked with me to match the repairs to my budget. He was very courteous and knowledgeable, and had the skills and parts needed to make the repair in short order. One of our garage door springs broke on a Friday night. We called Precision Garage Doors on Saturday and they came out that afternoon. There was no extra charge for a weekend call, and the tech was very knowledgeble. The springs were replaced and a complete inspection was completed in about an hour. It was great to have our door repaired quickly and done very well. We will definately call Precision again if we need service.

Thank you Thomas, We had multiple issues that we needed guidance to correct. Thomas evaluated the situation and we discussed the solutions. He explained everything in terms that I could understand. Thomas replaced all of the rollers, the left and right torsion springs and the end bearing set and knock out and center bearings. Honestly, the door opens and closes much more smoothly than it ever has with the added bonus of being much quieter. Thomas was quick and efficient, he left the place clean. My garage doors are relatively new, but VERY heavy. The largest had started making some disconcerting creaking sounds. Thomas, with Precision Door, gave them a thorough inspection, corrected some issues made by the original installers (a different company), and then explained exactly what he had done.
