The Tech was proficient and did a good job. He reinforced issues that he felt were real safety issues. I did not like the company policy of taking all the door springs loose and removing all the cable drums and cables prior to presenting the sales pitch portion of the presentation, which created a half hour repair to well over one hour. I felt like I was being held hostage. I will be hunting for my former Overhead Garage Door vender that moved.

I feel blindsided, I scheduled an appointment to have someone come out to give me a “free quote” on a garage door repair. The service man was very pleasant but quoted me about $300 more than other quotes I had gotten. He was only here for about 15 minutes and when I let him know I was not going to proceed with the service he charged me a $65 service fee just for coming to give me the quote. When I called customer service they claimed to have told me this before and proceeded to say they could not give me a refund. Every other garage door company that came out before Precision, did not charge me for a quote. I will not be ever be using precision nor recommending them to anyone in the future.

Precision has now replaced my whole 23-year-old system. I was happy with their service when they replaced the springs a couple of years ago, and the installer warned me that the opener could go out at any time. When it finally did yesterday, Brendon came today to install a new motor and rollers. He was friendly and polite and the new equipment works well. I'm happy with the company and their employees.

When our garage door failed it came at a bad time, which is probably typical. Precision Garage door sent technicians out within 24 hours and our garage door was working right away. Professional, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable service! I appreciate the ability to schedule an appointment online, and have a tech come out the same day. Brendan provided excellent communication. I knew that I was on his schedule, and when he would be arriving. He diagnosed the problem with our opener quickly, and resolved the problem. Brendan completely serviced our door-- replacing the wheels and the spring, then installed a new. What a difference!
