William was the tech. Very personable - very knowledgeable. Got the door working and adjusted. Very detailed about wear and tear and age of the door. Was willing to make appointment that was a few days away. They responded same day and found a tech with availability. 1st tech was running late so they sent another. Gave me solid advice to alleviate the mistreatment and therefore misalignment of our shop doors.

I called for an appointment at 9:00 a.m. and the garage door was repaired by 2:00 p.m. the same day! Brenden was the tech and did a great job--he probably does this kind of repair (replace broken springs) 50 times a week! Bottom line, Precision was very professional. I felt comfortable the job would be done right, and it was. Their price was reasonable. Not cheap but certainly not exorbitant either--middle of the road providing what I believe is a good value.

I feel ripped off. I contacted Precision inquiring about service and rates. I told them I had a Guardian opener less than 6 years old. I had talked to Guardian about my problem and they told me it was the logic/circuit board and gave me an email address to order a new one. Precision told me their service person had everything necessary on his truck and I didn’t need to order it. The service person came, told me it was the circuit board, which I had told him when he arrived, told me he didn’t have one and that it would need to be ordered, it would be $65 for the call and he’d come back when it came. I told him that that wasn’t fair. I already knew it was the circuit board and they told me not to order it, that they had one. Now I’d have to double pay. The service person told me he wouldn’t charge me for the second service call. Six days later the circuit board came in and the service person came back. He did a great job installing it and it worked great. The charge was another $75! I asked about what he’d said about no service charge the second time and he said this was labor charge. I asked him if it would have been $65 plus $75 if he hadn’t given me “service” for free and he said yes. So BEWARE. That’s $140 for a trip out with no purchase of parts. I paid another $56 for the circuit board directly from the manufacturer. So that’s $196 to replace a $48 part that was easy to install.

I used the chat function on the website at 4:30pm. Fast response and given a 12-2 window the next day. At 12:05 William arrived. He was super pleasant and professional. Within an hour several issues were fixed. Could not be happier and will always recommend this company to friends and family.

I was very pleased with our experience with Precision Garage Door. They were able to schedule us for the very next day after I called, even though it wasn't an emergency. William installed a keypad entry and replaced a broken safety sensor. He did great work and explained everything well. He also rebalanced and straightened our garage door, eliminating an open gap along the right edge of the garage door, without even being asked.

Precision was the only local area company to respond to our call on a holiday (despite other companies prominently advertising their availability "24/7"). Precision's technician William Fletcher professionally and promptly replaced our broken torsion spring and carried out other upgrades we requested. Additional interactions with Precision have convinced us to recommend them to others. A really good outfit!

Problem with the opener belt tension on one side of the belt track. It was making lots of noise, so I knew there was something wrong. Precision replaced the entire belt/track assembly for me ... no charge, since it was still under warranty, 1.5 years after it was installed. He even had one on the truck! I am VERY happy with this company and the service provided.

Cheerful and courteous service person. I have a garage double door which has one long enclosed main spring. That spring broke. I called them late on a Sunday night and they arrived the next day at noon. The price was higher than I expected. However, it works well and I now have have an easier system to service with a two spring system. It took about 2 hours to replace everything.

Wow, was I impressed with your service. I had been looking for a trustworthy company. I have friends who have had horror experiences with garage door repair people. The appointment was quick, not weeks out. The repairman was on time. He overlooked the junk in the garage as I was trying to move and could not get the garage door up. He showed us the little safety feature to get the door up without the lifter working. I was able to move my stuff out of the garage. The landlord can now deal with repairing or replacing the very old garage door lifter. Oh, the repairman(sorry, I think his name is Brandon) did a thorough inspection and writeup. Super great guy, very, very professional. What a positive experience in the middle of a moving out mess. Moving is drama enough by itself. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

We needed 2 side springs replaced. We called a few other places and they came out and told us we needed to replace the whole system since it was very old. The guy from Precision who repaired our springs did an excellent job for a great price. I would definitely recommend this company to do your garage opener repairs.
