I smile every time I open my garage door! Thank you Precision Garage Door! My garage door was making loud rackety noises, which were getting worse. Now it opens smoothly and quietly. Scheduling a time for a technician to come was easy. The tech, William, was excellent: efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. He quickly diagnosed the door's problem, offered me options and fixed it. My door is about 30 years old, and when I need a replacement, Precision is at the top of my list of companies to work with.

Precision Door Service Rep was very professional and I was very satisfied with the work he did. I explained to him that I wanted the garage door to be serviced, e.g., check any portion of the door that needed to be service to keep the door in a good functional operational capability. I also asked him to tell me if any parts of the to door will be needed to be replaced. He inspected the door and did the necessary required services to it and informed me that the garage railing balls may have to be replaced in the future because of wear and tear. Otherwise the present operational condition of the door is okay. .

Had previously used Precision Garage Door Service (different dealer in another state) to repair a number of issues with an old garage door opener. Was very satisfied with the quality of service and products provided in that transaction. New house here in Windsor came with a garage door but no opener. Looked for Precision Garage Door in the area and found the Fort Collins dealer. Called the local office on a Monday and had a new garage door opener by Tuesday afternoon. Spoke to Amanda on Monday about what I wanted. She passed the information to Tyler and he called Tuesday morning to discuss details. Colten was there in early afternoon and finished installing a new belt-drive opener with a very nice Liftmaster opener plus the wall mount control, the exterior key-pad, and the remote accessories. He also upgraded the original rollers with nylon-covered rollers for a quieter movement. The install was all very smooth and satisfactory. I am very pleased with the results of this transaction. I definitely suggest you consider Precision Garage Door of Fort Collins for your garage door opener issues. The staff is very courteous and professional. Colten was extremely patient with all my questions and helpful with explanations of the features of the opener.

William was the tech. Very personable - very knowledgeable. Got the door working and adjusted. Very detailed about wear and tear and age of the door. Was willing to make appointment that was a few days away. They responded same day and found a tech with availability. 1st tech was running late so they sent another. Gave me solid advice to alleviate the mistreatment and therefore misalignment of our shop doors.

I called for an appointment at 9:00 a.m. and the garage door was repaired by 2:00 p.m. the same day! Brenden was the tech and did a great job--he probably does this kind of repair (replace broken springs) 50 times a week! Bottom line, Precision was very professional. I felt comfortable the job would be done right, and it was. Their price was reasonable. Not cheap but certainly not exorbitant either--middle of the road providing what I believe is a good value.

I feel ripped off. I contacted Precision inquiring about service and rates. I told them I had a Guardian opener less than 6 years old. I had talked to Guardian about my problem and they told me it was the logic/circuit board and gave me an email address to order a new one. Precision told me their service person had everything necessary on his truck and I didn’t need to order it. The service person came, told me it was the circuit board, which I had told him when he arrived, told me he didn’t have one and that it would need to be ordered, it would be $65 for the call and he’d come back when it came. I told him that that wasn’t fair. I already knew it was the circuit board and they told me not to order it, that they had one. Now I’d have to double pay. The service person told me he wouldn’t charge me for the second service call. Six days later the circuit board came in and the service person came back. He did a great job installing it and it worked great. The charge was another $75! I asked about what he’d said about no service charge the second time and he said this was labor charge. I asked him if it would have been $65 plus $75 if he hadn’t given me “service” for free and he said yes. So BEWARE. That’s $140 for a trip out with no purchase of parts. I paid another $56 for the circuit board directly from the manufacturer. So that’s $196 to replace a $48 part that was easy to install.

I was very pleased with our experience with Precision Garage Door. They were able to schedule us for the very next day after I called, even though it wasn't an emergency. William installed a keypad entry and replaced a broken safety sensor. He did great work and explained everything well. He also rebalanced and straightened our garage door, eliminating an open gap along the right edge of the garage door, without even being asked.
