William was prompt, professional and arrived with all necessary items to complete the replacement of my garage opener. He completed a thorough inspection and explained everything in detail. I was very pleased with my service from Precision Garage Door. I came across them in internet searches and they had largely very good reviews. My technician Drew D. was prompt and professional. I had an ancient garage door opener that needed replacing (noisy does not begin to describe it). Drew did a safety inspection and then gave me several recommendations for repair and replacement. I chose to replace the opener and a few other recommended parts. Drew did the work quickly and cleanly, explained everything and left me with a few things to watch for as some of the older parts age. I would definitely use Precision Garage Door again.

I feel blindsided, I scheduled an appointment to have someone come out to give me a “free quote” on a garage door repair. The service man was very pleasant but quoted me about $300 more than other quotes I had gotten. He was only here for about 15 minutes and when I let him know I was not going to proceed with the service he charged me a $65 service fee just for coming to give me the quote. When I called customer service they claimed to have told me this before and proceeded to say they could not give me a refund. Every other garage door company that came out before Precision, did not charge me for a quote. I will not be ever be using precision nor recommending them to anyone in the future.

I was totally displeased with cost and recommendations by the tech. first of all you charge $65 for the visit and recommended more things to be replaced then needed to be. You are no better than a bad auto mechanic. The $65 included a total assessment but I never received it in writing when the tech said he would. You tried to compensate for the high prices you were charging by offering a $300 discount off of $800. Well, guess what, I had another garage repair come today for the same work and he only charged me $375 total. I would not recommend your company to anyone.

George, We are so sorry for the misunderstanding. Looking at the 25 point safety inspection and photos of your door, you have many parts that are quite worn. While Noah quoted you for just the springs and bearings as you requested- he felt your door was in need of further repair to operate safely. The confusion on price may have come from the many options Noah gave you- from a temporary fix, to a full repair. We love our customers- but don't want them to have to see us monthly as we return to repair the other worn components. Our promise is to fix it the correct way, the first time. Anything less is a disservice to you.

Quoted before starting. Reconditioned and tuned our existing garage door. It runs better than it did new. William was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. We were very happy with the service we received.
